Kodak

Fire Safety Education

Kodak, now 13 1/2 years old, has been active with the Hinckley Fire Department since he was 8 weeks old. During that time he has trained with Ohio Task Force One [ FEMA] team; been active with 2 local canine Search and Rescue teams; done Hospice and hospital visits: helped teach scout troops and Seniors groups and taught thousands of children through school programs. He actively participated in lessons by doing "Stop, Drop and Roll"; was dressed for cold weather to teach young kids how to be safe in the cold; showed children how to go to their "Safe Place" if there is a fire and wore rediculous outfits to make safety lessons a little more fun.
Kodak 's  goal in life is to be with people of all ages and he is happiest when he is working. He does not understand this new concept called "retirement".
