Congratulations to Hinckley Elementary School student Kristen Curran! Kristen, shown here with her parents Philip and Janet Curran, was the winning third grade entry to name the township's newest park at River Road and 303. Kristen and her winning entry - River Woods Nature Preserve - were honored at a recent trustee meeting. Thanks Kristen! |

Medina County Electrical Aggregation Program The County will finalize its agreement with First Energy Solutions to provide electrical energy reductions for county residents, including those of Hinckley Township. There will be information mailed directly by First Energy Solutions providing an opportunity for residents to opt-out of the program. This information regarding the opt-out, as well as additional program specifics, will be distributed to each customer by mail this summer, the program is estimated to begin late-summer to early-fall. The Medina County Treasurer's Office will be re-launching the Fix-It Fund Improvement Loan Program on May 17th, 2010. Fix-It Funds enables eligible Medina County homeowners to repair or remodel their homes at interest rates 3% below what a bank would normally offer.
