DISPOSAL OF 2013 CHRISTMAS TREES

Letter of Notice

The Medina County Yard Waste Composting Facility, located adjacent to the County's Central Processing Facility at 8700 Lake Road, Seville, Ohio can again this year accomodate the disposal of Christmas trees.

Discarded Christmas trees can be brought to the yardwaste compost facility, at no charge, from 6:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. until noon on Saturdays.  Christmas trees must be free of plastic bags, tinsel or other wrappings when discarded at the compost facility!

All municipalities as well as Medina County residents are encouraged to use the compost facility during regular business hours to discard all yard waste, including Christmas trees.

NOTE:  Plastic bags are not biodegradable.  Therefore, all yard waste must be dumped loose and be free of any plastic bags.
