Citizen of the Year Nominations Sought

The Hinckley Citizen of the Year Committee is accepting nominations for the 2011 Citizen of the Year Award.  Nominees must be Hinckley residents who have demonstrated unselfish commitment in helping and providing support to the many needs of the community.

The winner will be honored with a presentation at a trustee meeting along with a starring role in the Memorial Day Parade.  He/she will receive name recognition on a plaque along with his/her picture, which will be displayed at the township townhall.  The previous winners of the award include Al Deka, 2010; Walter Robb, 2009; LaVerne Pay, 2008; John Ascherl, 2007; Ralph Johnson, 2006; Ty Foth, 2000; John Buck, 1999; Susen Batke, 1998; Barbara Goldbach, 1997; Elaine Vanderschier, 1996; Michelle Lumadue, 1995; and Bob Metzer, 1994.
